Please review important insurance updates below:

If you plan to use insurance, please upload your insurance information as soon as you book your appointment so we can verify your benefits. If we do not receive your details at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, your visit will be considered out-of-pocket.

We are not in network with CareOregon, Cigna, Kaiser, HealthNet, or Trillium. If you have one of these plans, your visit will be considered out-of-pocket.

Providence Health Plan has moved acupuncture coverage for most plans to American Specialty Health (ASH). All services will now require prior authorization and medical necessity reviews, while reimbursement rates have been significantly reduced, making it difficult for us to continue providing care under these terms. We are not currently accepting new patients for Providence plans managed by ASH.

We are accepting new patients with Providence Health Plan powered by Collective Health.

OHP - We are currently accepting new OHP patients with Providence Assurance or OHSU Health. Check your Health Share card to confirm which CCO manages your plan. If it is managed by Kaiser, CareOregon, or Trillium, please do not book online unless you plan to pay out of pocket.

Want to Switch to an OHP Plan We Accept? Contact Health Share of Oregon and request a transfer to: OHSU Health

OHSU Health (OHP) requires prior authorization before treatment can begin. We must submit a request on your behalf with a completed Back Pain Screening Questionnaire. Please book your appointment at least 14 business days in advance and fill out your questionnaire asap to allow for OHSU processing time.

Katie is not in network with Moda / OHSU Health (OHP). Her credentialing is pending.

Hi, I’m Katie! In addition to acupuncture, I love incorporating a variety of supportive therapies into my treatments—including moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, teishin, Reiki, and essential oils. I also integrate a range of hands-on bodywork techniques such as myofascial release, visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and shiatsu, and I almost always include the gentle vibrational support of tuning forks. My path to East Asian Medicine began in 2002 while seeking support for chronic digestive issues. After years of personal healing with acupuncture, herbs, and energy work, I felt called to formally study the medicine that had helped me so profoundly. I hold a Master’s in Acupuncture and Classical Chinese Medicine from NUNM and am also a Licensed Massage Therapist.

Hi, I’m Robyn! My approach blends the classical wisdom of ancient medicine with Five Element theory and the healing power of sound. I weave together constitutional diagnosis, intuitive insights, and intergalactic frequencies to create a comprehensive treatment experience that supports all of you—body, mind, and spirit. Each session may include acupuncture, fire cupping, tuning forks and aromatherapy. I hold a doctorate in Classical Chinese Medicine from NUNM. When I am not at work I love to spend time outdoors with Pikol— my magnificent dog and miraculous healer— and my incredible sweet puppy Miko, as we appreciate the endless beauty of the natural world.
